A 12″ woofer and a 1.5″ tweeter compression driver with titanium cone are used, which is coupled to the room by a directivity horn with a dispersion angle of 60° in the vertical and 90° in the horizontal. In order to minimize differences in the running time, the woofer is slightly offset from the tweeter horn inside the cabinet so that the voice coils of both drivers are in the same plane. The case itself is made of durable plastic and has a robust steel front. It offers 3x handles to facilitate transport and, above all, mounting on speaker stands. A special mounting bracket is available for wall mounting.

DSP with One-Button Operation

The on-board DSP of the ZLX-12P-BT offers various parameters for adapting the loudspeaker to the spatial and technical conditions. The modes Music (default), Live, Speech and Club offer pre-sets for bass and treble adjustment for the application. The location parameters Pole (default), Monitor and Bracket optimize the frequency response for use on stands as floor monitors or in wall mounting. Bass and Treble allow an increase of +/- 10dB. Finally, the Sub menu provides access to the parameters for subwoofer operation.
